The kids went out for a little bit to collect candy this evening. They had a good time but came home because they were cold. We then carved my sons pumpkin, I had avoided putting the pumpkin outside becuase of the kids in the area. But we were able to enjoy it this evening

After 20 years in Italy I was hoping to have some trick or treaters. It would have been a great experience for my wife also, but at 19:30 (7:30 pm) only two kids have come. What is happening to our culture???
oh, I’m sorry, it is depressing to look forward to getting the little ones to the door. They can be so cute. We live in an apartment complex, and I can tell you that we actually havent taken the kids out here for trick or treats. Mostly because of the kids that we have here, have not been taught any values. Alot of the older folks here, sinply don’t put candy out or answer the door, because they dont feel that the kids of this generation are deserving.
We usually take our children to our church for ‘trunk or treat’. Basically we all decorate our cars and the kids walk through the parking lot collecting their candy. Sometimes we have games or have a ‘best decorated car’ contest (which I won last year)
I hope that next year you have more ‘trick or treaters’, have a good rest of Halloween!

Now THAT’S a spooktacular jack-o-lantern!
thank you, I would love to take the credit, but my family (husband, daughter and son) were responsible for the jack-o-lantern. I think they did a pretty good job too .

They may have carved it … but you took the picture!!
True, and they did such a great job! Now I got to need to get my son to agree to put the pumpkin outside, before it starts to smell
