I arrived (update)

Filed under: Just Me — dawn @ 1:16 am

I arrived at the hospital in one piece, and got to spend a little time with my dad this evening. He was realy out of it, the pain meds were keeping him pretty sedated. The doctors are hoping to manage the pain and allow him more time where he can spend talking with us. The future does not look to great though, and at this point it is a wait and see type of thing. I will try to update this site on a fairly regular basis, if possible. Thank you all for the prayers and hugs.

I am not sure when I will be returning ‘home’ and how long I will be there when I do get to go home. For now, my time is not going to be spent primarily on the computer as it is at home, so I really cant say when I will get to update the site. Please check back though as I will update when I am able.

As for ‘blogging’, I think it is safe to say that I will not be able to rack up any credits, which I would need to keep the traffic flowing to the site, so I am not going to advertise for the ‘rent my blog’ on BE. I will resume that when things are more back to normal as well. I just cant see…saying that I am going to get people to see my site, when I am not sure I will have the credits to do so.

Well, everyone is turning in here, and we will be at the hospital early tomorrow, so I am going to turn in myself…(yikes it is only 12:15!) Night all and thank you again.

Take all the time you need. I shall keep your Father and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you Dawn. It is very difficult for me. This whole thing reminds me why I didnt finish Nursing School….I am way to emotional. I wish that I could be online and talk with all my friends, who help me to deal with the day to day things…rants, raves, highs and lows. I kind of feel secluded here, though I am able to get on the computer for a bit of time everyday, it isnt the same.

But my dad needs us here now…Thank you again
