ATTACK CAT!

Filed under: Cats, critters and other pets — dawn @ 2:20 am

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Residents of a Fairfield neighborhood said that they have been terrorized by a crazy cat named Lewis.

The 5-year-old black-and-white longhaired cat is accused of attacking about a half dozen people on Sunset Circle and even allegedly ambushed the Avon lady.

Neighbors said Lewis springs, wraps himself around victims’ legs and bites and scratches. Several people said that they needed to get treatment at hospitals.

A restraining order has been issued against Lewis. It means he can’t leave his home. The town’s animal control officer has also arrested Lewis’ owner on charges of failing to comply with the restraining order.

Ruth Cisero, Lewis’ owner, said she told the neighbors to stay away from Lewis and he’ll stay away from them.

But neighbors aren’t buying that. One neighbor said that the neighborhood is afraid of this cat.

And it seems that one lady is suing the owner of Lewis.

I saw this and couldnt resist. It made me think of little Abby, who I promptly turned to and told her that I was going to sue her for all her little mice and treats if she didnt stop using her little claws on me. :)

(I know that this isnt a laughing matter, but it reminded me of my little Abby and all the scars I am getting from her.)

Revenge of the putty cat.

Thats to funny.

They showed video of the cat on several news stations, Lewis looks just like my cats. In fact, I think that Socks might even be more aggressive when playing than Lewis was. But I understand that once Lewis gets outside, he is “definding” his territory and is not nice at all.

I am so happy that Lewis will be allowed to live, even if he has to be confined in the house. From his pictures next to his owner he does look like a very big cat and he could do some damage with 4 feet and claws.

We love you Lewis!!

I too, am glad that Lewis is safe. I am not at all happy with his owner. I have to admit that I really think that she should have kept Lewis inside the first time she noticed that she was having problems with Lewis attacking people. I hope, for Lewis’s sake that she keeps him inside
