wacky weather

Filed under: Just Me — dawn @ 4:21 am

We started off this year with spring- like days (keep im mind, I am not complaining about a warmer winter) only to be dropped into the deep freezer. I was hoping that the warm-up that we started this week with, would last. I was just getting used to not having to dress in 14 layers just to get the mail. But now it is snowing…I think. During yesterday, it rained most of the day, only to switch to snow about 8pm. It isnt supposed to be doing anything outside right now, but I looked out, to find it snowing again…and it is now 33F here! The only good news is that the roads will hopefully not be icy for when hubby heads to work in a couple hours.

I guess I will just have to cuddle up in the living room again with this…

We had bad weather from the middle of January up until last week. It’s now 60 degrees and sunny! I’m so ready for spring. BlogMad hit!

We went from spring back to winter, it isnt getting to warm anymore and it is snowing every couple of days

The cold weather makes us enjoy the warmth of summer even more. If it wasn’t for the freezing temps. in winter, summer would be so boring if we had it all year round.

Chris

So true. I could do without winter. Just have spring, summer and fall, skip winter all together

no bigdeal, snow is the best . for what it worth, i think it shows a sign of a stable planet ,being all the talk about the greenhouse affect.

i wish it would snow here like it does in barrow alaska, it’s snow’s in barrow in the middle of summer such as july and august.
the average tempature in july is 46 and thats the warmest month of the year.

for more info go to www.weather.com and look at the weather for barrow alaska (type in barrow and then go to averages) and
you will see the averages for all months. so if its only 46 for the average, so a few deg below average could mean snow.

tell you what, you can have all my snow…for free. I dont want it. When I was younger, I used to downhill ski, it was fun…but I am not a skiier anymore and would rather nice weather. Snow is great…till it falls, and I have to clean it up
