I have been really tired lately and that has hurt my posting here.
Cat wise…
Bruno had surgery last week to have 12 bladder stones removed. He is now in my livingroom, basking in the firelight.
Cookie has been swapped for Layla, I am hoping that Cookie is able to find a good home through the shelter he is now with.
Missy is fitting in well.
Layla is starting to adjust to life here, I am sure I will have pictures within the next few days.
Otherwise…
I have started working in the yard. Not much, just cleaning up after winter, getting some of the garbage picked up (we have had strong winds which have brought extra “stuff” into the yard) and getting an idea where things are going to go soon.
Lacrosse Season starts soon, so that will be another thing to do each day
Taxes are done…and we still owe
not to much else.

You know, if you weren’t married, you’d be that crazy cat lady…
you think?
nah, I ONLY have 8 cats upstairs…Bruno is in a cage in the livingroom,
because he had surgery last week. Missy is on the couch with me. Socks,
Abby, and Blackie are in my room, I think that Oreo is too. Nikki is hunting
around upstairs, Duke is on Josephs bed.
Downstairs I have Dex, who will soon be upstairs, Kabuki who has yet to
prove she will not have an accident on a bed somewhere, and Layla who
doesn’t care for any other cats. Layla will be in Juliannes room by next
week, I hope.
At least my house doesn’t smell like a “crazy cat lady’s” house.

I think it is great that you have given a home to all the cats. I find cats so loving even though some people describe them as independent and offish. Now I have retired and all my cats have one by one passed on, I am glad to have my neighbours cat pop in daily to my tiny apartment for a cuddle and to sit on my desk watching me surf.
Hope the tiredness goes away. I tend to get depressed towards the end of Winter and then find the Spring lifts my spirits again.
spring could arrive any time now….I am still waiting
I love the cats. I wish that I could keep quite a few of them, but if I did that…well, I would be the crazy cat lady. I have my three, and three are going to be very difficult to place, so they will be with me for a while. The other 5 are very adoptable and I hope that they get wonderful loving homes soon.
