just a few…
…cat pictures. Well, what did you expect? My place is beinging to look like a cat house…pardon the pun. Here are a few of the “latest” felines that have spent some time here.
To start things off with, this is JJ. His name when he came was “Jimbo” but it just didnt seem to fit…neither did his discription as a “tiger” kitty. I nicknamed him JJ and took pictures of his “spots”. JJ is at least part Bengal, a breed known for their spots. I fell in love immediately with him and had to keep reminding myself that he was only visiting. What a sweet boy. He seemed to have a problem keeping his water and his litter off the floor of his cage, so one night I had to give him a bath, which ended with him sleeping in my room, with me…which is where he stayed till he went to his new “forever” home. Here are a few more of his pictures. I still miss this little guy, he was so sweet and lovable, but I have more little ones to give my love to, as you will see…
This is Bernie. He only spent one night with me, then he went to his new home. He was a nice boy and though it took him a little time, he did start playing and then I was able to get some beautiful pictures. Bernie is quite a talker too, I think that he kept calling for a good three for hours, before settling in for the rest of the night.
Next is Klink aka Klink-Klank aka Klank. Needless to say “Klink” was a name that didnt really fit. I know that Klank would not be with me long, and I didnt want to confuse him to much with giving him a new “name”. This little boy is such a lover! Everyone who takes care of him, just falls in love. I know that he will find a great home. I took Klanks pictures while he checked out the house.
Dexter, my poor little Dex. He came to my house with Bernie and Klank…but Dex is not well. Dex was really underweight, dehydrated, and sick with an upper resperatory infection. The night that this picture was taken, Dex was startled and bit my hand (see the last two posts). Dex is doing much, much better. He is now eating, and drinking. He still doesnt want to leave the security of his little box, but that is fine, once he is better I will work with him and hopefully he will do well. Dex is the only one from that “crew” that has stayed. He needs special care and I am giving him alot of attention.
Ah, and now for the new arrivals…
This is Nichole. She is new and as one of only 4 females (humans and cats), she is definately outnumbered. Nichole is a nice little girl. She needs a little more socialization, but when she gets used to those around she does well. To take these pictures
I brought Nichole and her cagemate, Oreo, to my sons room where they could play, take naps or whatever; and I would not have to worry about trying to catch them. That brings us to…
Oreo! What a cute boy. He is such a nice boy, but not as playful as his cagemate, Nichole. Oreo calmly checked everything out, then discovered that my sons bed was a nice place to take a nap. I just love Oreo’s markings, which you can see in his Pictures.
Well, that is what I have been doing for the last two weeks. I really do enjoy my little visitors.
